The great Vasconcelos was referring, of course, to my great uncle Victor Massieu Luis Perez and his brother, my grandfather, Wilfrido Massieu Pérez, born first, March 16, 1876 and the second a December 27, 1878. The more he took nearly three years to my grandfather. Both were students of military careers in the H. Military College of Mexico, where it also appears that studied his father, Luis Massieu Redding ... Luis V. Massieu Pérez studied for military engineer without having exercised after the arms race, while Wilfrido if fully exercised, as we shall see later on another note ...

"En el Informe…de 1931" -señaló Luis V. Massieu- "que de 600 alumnos solo 25 concluyeron la carrera; hasta este año la EIME sufrió cambios en su denominación, sino también en sus relaciones administrativas, habiendo dependence been under a) The Government of DF, 2) The Directorate General of Primary Education, 3) UNAM and 4) The SEP ... On April 8, 1932 the EIME ceased to exist, becoming the ESME-officio Director Luis V. Eng. The same applies to the remarkable work of Mr. Jesus Flores Palafox and Dr. Humberto González Monteón, called "The ESIME in the History of Technical Education" 1st Tranche-editor-IPN, Mexico, 1993, is my particular appreciation to both authors.
A complementary case can be taken from the list of "Teachers' Professional" in the first work mentioned above (Annex # 12, page 171) whenever there you can see the name of Mr. Juan Mancera Ugarte (chea), in addition to being Professor of "Rational Mechanics' School, was brother-School Director Luis V. Massieu (and Wilfrido Massieu) because he was married to the sister of two, Clotilde Perez Massieu, the friendship of Mancera Ugarte (chea) with brothers Luis V. and Wilfrido Massieu Pérez came from his years as a partner in the Military College ...
